Who may use Workdoe
You must be at least 18 years old, use accurate account information, and have authority to post or perform the work. One account keeps one marketplace role: consumers post projects and contractors respond to projects.
Marketplace role
Workdoe helps independent consumers and contractors find each other. Workdoe is not the employer, general contractor, agent, insurer, payment processor, or party performing the project. The participants decide whether to work together and are responsible for scope, price, scheduling, permits, licenses, insurance, taxes, contracts, payment, and safe performance.
The beta does not provide payment, escrow, warranties, background checks, license verification, emergency dispatch, ratings, or dispute adjudication. Profile qualifications and project statements are self-reported unless Workdoe explicitly says otherwise.
Project and account conduct
Post a clear and lawful scope, protect private contact and location details, communicate respectfully, and do not misrepresent identity, qualifications, availability, ownership, or authorization. Do not scrape accounts, bypass access controls, spam users, manipulate bids, or use Workdoe to commit fraud or discrimination.
Prohibited work
Do not post or seek illegal work, emergency response, medical or personal-care services, firearms activity, hazardous-material or asbestos/mold/lead abatement, unlicensed gas or utility work, insurance-claim negotiation, illegal dumping, or work that would place an unverified minor at risk. Workdoe may restrict additional high-risk categories until the required verification and operating controls exist.
Moderation and availability
Workdoe may hide content, limit a service area, suspend an account, preserve audit records, or report credible threats when needed for safety, policy enforcement, or legal compliance. The controlled beta may change, pause, or end without guaranteeing that a project receives bids or that a contractor receives work.
